Highly rated midfielder apparently

Came to Wigan via Blackpool (when Worthy was there), and Bury. Wigan got a bargain (something like ?25k) on account of Bury's dire financial straits. Sounds like someone in the mould of Francis. Very highly rated a couple of seasons ago when he was still young, haven't heard much about him recently. Still, he's been a regular in the Wigan starting XI this season despite a serious ankle injury, and he is on a free, so sounds like good business.
