And hence won't be in the mood to scrap like hell tonight.

The two results that killed us (other than of course us failing to win ourselves, which might have something to do with it!) were Everton's wins over Newcastle and Man Utd. How they beat Newcastle with 10 men on that night I don't know. Hugely lucky. And then Man Utd coughing up 3 pts, which Everton were good enough to grab, while we were not. Take 4/6 points off Everton and we would all be nail biting still. Or if, rather than depending on others, we had actually sorted ourselves out to get 3/4 points from Leeds/Brentford/Man Utd. But I'm well beyond nail biting now.
