I have the same problem. I have to get red for a generator

but it's actually been more expensive without duty on it from my local red supplier than regular white from the supermarket.

I filled a couple of 5 gallon cans last week and got some funny looks. Neither of our cars are diesels but the f**kers are just itching to voice their opinions. You can see it.
