Personal view is the law has not been broken, but consider the role of the individual’s husband and there is an argument that morally this feels wrong.
Consider the current high tax environment in the UK, the pain being felt by many people and you can see why this is such a big issue.
There is also the consideration that she is not “one of us” in spite of her husband being the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer.
It’s fine if you are Indian, but being Indian at the absolute heart of the UK “system” won’t rest easy with many.
Rishi hasn’t looked up to it recently in my opinion, completely lacking in ideas.
This may be a smear campaign but he was already sliding.
