Which it inevitably would have had the season progressed. There were no real signs of progress unfortunately. The crowd would have turned on him which would have been a sad way to end.

One of the downsides of Farke leaving when he did was that it didn’t get toxic, so people are nostalgic for his return, despite the fact that his time had clearly come.
