i don't like the un-natural beak jut for a start and i haven't got a degree in physics (i know, shock) but, even if you were actually able to balance a canary like that on a spherical object its centre of mass would be forward of the balls rotational plane and the little feller being susceptible to the forces of gravity and the downward force of the bird's mass would cause the "football" (to me it looks like a pingpong ball but let's put the inconsequential detail to one side for now) to rotate forwards and the canary would fall off. maybe now mrs ward is in the politburo this can be addressed properly before it's too late and align the bird correctly on the ball. not too much to ask for is it?
