Current wife is a family solicitor

If someone asks for a breakdown of costs they would get a detailed report in a couple of days. If you aren't happy first port of call is to go through their complaints procedure.
If you want free advice you could go to ncls, charity offering legal advice.
You can also take it to another solicitor to review but this would cost.
