waste of fuel as well because once you have driven the extra bit beyond your destination

you have to drive back and then you'd be all "why on earth did i drive the extra bit? seems i've just wasted some fuel and time and added some additional wear and tear on my car". we're back at the sheer futility of twenty wheeler shopping trolleys again.
