That's the rub

The people peddling the electric dream have absolutely no f**king grasp of the fact that the ordinary guy in the street cannot afford 30-40k for a decent electric vehicle.
He might be able to stretch to some used tin can town runabout with the range of an electric scooter, but that's no use to anyone who lives in the sticks as a primary family vehicle.
