it carked it right after i reset the clock

i think the shock was too much for the poor thing. do you need to reset the clock on modern boilers? i hate that resetting the clock business as all the other settings have to be reset too. time on and off x 3 for the heating and again for the hot water. what a ballache. boilers are just behind printers in the utter w**kers hall of fame.
