Showbiz seems to be struggling

With the line between puncturing pomposity through humour and just being f*cking insulting to each other.

Briefly made me question my modern man credentials however as I pondered quite how much pearl clutching there is about administering a slap, for something that I'm not surprised prompted one.

Violence is never acceptable natch, but publicly mocking a family member's illness in front of an international audience... (the argument that you're a public figure, suck it up, always seems so wrong).
