We were in Galicia (north coast of Spain) for some bucket and spade when the boys were young (youngest 6 or 7, oldest 10). Driving along the coast road heading for supper and bedtime, we got a faint LW signal all the way across the Bay of Biscay and realised that an epic run chase was on. When we got to the little fishing village which was our destination the signal was terrible and so we drove all the way out along the quay, dodging nets and piles of crab pots, to get as far into the Atlantic as we could to maximise signal strength. When Hoggy hit a 4 to take us to touching distance there was an explosion of joy of the type only small children can produce. The boys still talk about that moment.
Lovely old TMS on Long Wave.
