We've spent £8-10m on a striker who, it seems, isn't a striker

so once Smith opted for 4-4-2 we only had two strikers. One gets injured and that's that.
Everything was geared to 4-3-3 and one striker, a system that has totally and completely failed.

Although I think now Rowe is proving what he can do, we could switch back to 4-4-2 with Sargent up front. He can't do any worse there than he has recently on the right and at least he'd be an extra body to get in the way and press CBs.
