Taken from today's Daily Scum;
"NIGEL WORTHINGTON reckons Dean Ashton is partly to blame for Norwich?s poor season.
The Canaries finished ninth in the Championship ? 13 points off the play-off places ? following relegation from the Premiership a year ago.
Star striker Ashton quit Carrow Road for West Ham in a ?7.25million deal in January. Norwich boss Worthy said: ?If our first half of the season had been as good as the second, we would certainly have been in the running to go up.
?But one of the reasons it didn?t happen is we had people at the club who wanted to leave during the January transfer window.
?That was very unsettling for us and has got to be taken into consideration.?"
Well, that explains everything.
