Yet more evidence of the type of inept mis-management that is embroiling our club...

It may already have been mentioned on here but i heard it for the first time last night. According to a conversation a friend of mine had with Mr Doncaster a couple of weeks ago, the Hughes transfer was even more ludicrous than we all thought(and that was pretty ludicrous!). The story goes that there were a couple of other clubs sniffing around yer man last summer(Wroxham & Costessey Sports perchance?). Agent of said midfield/right winger/full back dynamo tells Worthington that he can 'persuade' his charge to choose us if he'll also take on this young dutch right back he also 'looks after'. ?1m later the Hooze is ours, all ours. ?1m? ?500000 on the original target, nigh on ?300000 on Mr Colin and ?200000, yes ?200000 to said agent. You really hope things like this don't really happen at our club, but my mate is ultra reliable & it was his own conversation with Doncaster, none of that friend of a friend bollocks. Whatever way you look at it, it's not a healthy sit-u-a-tion. Worthy out.
