Whatever happens...

with regard to Worthys future following his comments, i hope the club are looking at clearing the dead wood amongst the players and looking at viable replacements earlier rather than later, so we dont fall into the same 'late' trap that we have on transfers in previous years.

Players like McNaughton (on a free from Aberdeen), Billy Jones (the young talent at Crewe), Greg Halford (from Coly) and Chris Brunt (the creative midfielder from S. Wed) are all players we could easliy attract. As for striking options, City are likely to be after a 'tall' option, who though?

Whatever Worthys has said, we all know he will be here will be for at least the first dozen games of the new season, and will have money to spend - lets hope hes wiser than previous years

And im sure the majority of us will be there come the start of that new season to support our team- On the ball....
