from the pinkun:
But while many expected the Canaries boss to be the target of the boo-boys, it turned out to be just the opposite, as the fans rose to salute the man who has endured the most difficult of his five seasons at the helm.
Does Worthington and the pinkun really believe that the reception was aimed at him?
I stayed behind but just to applaud the players who have given their all. No I didn't rise to salute you Nigel because I have been protesting against you most weeks. If I protest outside the ground but turn up for the lap of honour, does that still make me a loyal fan? Can I have your permission to tell people I meet that I am a Norwich City supporter?
Don't they realise that the clapping might have been aimed at our only entertaining players (Hux, WLY, Earnie) or maybe our homegrown goalie who is heading off to the world cup and may never play for this club again?
If the club thinks that the minority left behind were all there to support Worthington, I think we have bigger problems than we think. Simply unbelievable.
Worthington out now.
