Fair points.

You've got to word it to sound more impactive and perhaps that involves bending the truth somewhat.

The hotel comment was something of an afterthought when I included it in that post.

However, you mention the cosy board vs. business board. We have a limited timeframe in which we have the boosted income which can undoubtedly improve our hopes of promotion due to the parachute payments.

Evidently they believe Worthington is the best man to utilise these funds. Why is this? His track record in the transfer market is far from the best. Worthington claims that it takes time for players to settle, and that injuries have been an issue. However, do you believe that players like Robinson, Hughes, Thorne etc. will be good enough once settled?

I think the board are taking the easy route by not sacking someone they like but, in my opinion, is simply not the right person to bring us these "greater riches that are around the corner".

We have got it both ways, we've got a cosy board iro Worthington and the on-field performance, and a business board for off-field ventures.

If anything this only proves that we need someone on the board who knows about football!
