Did an essay that included an element of it. Looked at a case - can't remember the name, never can! - where a book was published containing a list of all the "services" the prostitutes in London offered and their names and numbers.

IIRC, the book was outlawed as "an attempt to corrupt public morals" lol.

Anyway, will take a look for them. I'll see what I can find.
