I suppose, but then again

if we hadn't nicked their mines and been so hard on them in one of the most complicated wars ever (1914-1918), telling them they owe us so much money whilst removing their industry, which then meant the US had to lend them money

Then maybe hitler would have never been able to generate support, and ultimatley tell us we can stick the money they owe us up our arses, to which we said "ok" and then they planned for war, which we ignored for years, being sensible and all that
