I was struggling a bit, trying to avoid typing 'hole in the grass'

Cos grass can't easily have a visible hole in it.

I mean, in the grass which has grown up around the base of my shed, there is a (um) arrangement of grass and absence-of-grass, which has a suspiciously non-haphazardly-occurring look about it.

the hole is of dimensions as previously specified; the shed is approximately shed-sized (from the Inexpensive Range).
