Even I accepted that maybe DF’s time had come but I think we all recognise that DF wasn’t the problem, we just don’t have the talent in the squad. Therefore we’ve achieved bugger all in sacking DF as he would’ve remained our best bet for yet another straight return although I take on board what Simon said about having to attempt it with no Buendia.
