We didn’t really “deserve” to beat Brentford on any metric

other than the fact that we did. Krul made two incredible saves, lost on possession and xG. They were also not playing either of their summer signings so this was very much the same Champ team we beat last season.

If we’d lost yesterday - as arguably we deserved to - no-one would be batting an eyelid about this imo
