I think we could all accept not doing very well

if that was simply because our squad isn't good enough, but we were getting the best out of it. Which I think is roughly where we were last time round, barring the last 10 games.

Scrambling a win at the weekend would be the first step towards that, but it would need to be kept up. As in, we'd need to see a consistent improvement in performances and results for it to have a meaningful difference to Farke's long-term future.

It would buy Farke more time, but how much time would of course depend on what then followed.
