i most like the schizophrenia theory

cos it's a la mode to put 20th century psychological terms into Shakey's mouth. Like the 'lady macbeth had OCD' brigade, or the 'Lear was suffering from senile dementia' community.

But the 'he was tripping' argument is quite a valid one, as is 'it's all made up anyway' theory.
