Take the point on a new manager, but the bar is so low he's got a lot of good will

Get past the Derby points total first and foremost, match the 5 wins of the last Prem season, or even go one better, and that will be seen as progress surely?

We are in such a mess now that if the team looks cohesive and achieves those two targets the new manager will be fine.
