I wonder how that works as he's not a replacement for anyone we had previously and he didn't have the physicality and athleticism we were very openly saying we needed... But I presumed we had a plan.

I wonder if, when we approached Chelsea for him, if we had said we wanted Gallagher instead, we could have got him. He would be a huge upgrade on McLean or Lees-Melot and clearly provide the athleticism
