Is Todd going to sign a new contract while that's the case? Unlikely I'd have thought.

We're best selling him in January if he's not back in the team not has he signed a new contract.

Otherwise he's going for nowt while we spent the summer pretending we wouldn't sell for less that £40m while paper were linking him to Villa.

The big question (and I'm guessing Todd's agent is truly the only person who knows this) is whether any clubs have actually said they're willing to pay him what the agent wants.
