Massive cop out to put this all on Delia and Michael. The football side of it is nowhere near good enough at the moment and that’s not entirely down to budget. Our playing style does not work in the PL and Farke is not able to adapt.

If Farke is saying that he hasn’t got the players to play a different style, well, Webber has not signed the right type over the last two seasons.

For example, if we had really wanted to change our style to be more suited to the PL, instead of signing Dowell and Hugill, we could have gone balls out to sign Toney.

I agree that in the mid term, even across a whole season, it might be that we can’t do enough to stay in the PL because our budget holds us back, However, it is not our budget that is resulting in the utterly s**te performances such as yesterday.
