Not knocking Billy, but why was he MoM vs England?

1) Scotland smashed us 0-0 so they had to give it to a Scot, not an England player
2) they couldn’t give it to Scotland’s actual best player that game (grant Hanley) because he plays for Norwich and hadn’t been hyped up. So next best was the Chelsea teenager who is Scotland's great hope.

He was decent but he wasn’t the best player on the park at all. Not even second. But he had a decent game and was a popular choice.
