our best and most controlled performances in the Prem last time were with a midfield of Leitner and Trybull.

We'll get overrun at times through the middle, but that's happening anyway. At least we might also score some, and dominate against teams when they have an off day.

I'd build the midfield around Gilmour. Try to get the best out of our most talented players, rather than trying to cover our weaknesses all the time.
