The writing was on the wall last season

It was obvious last Prem season that we lacked pace and power, so when last season we went slower and more tippy-tappy (great though it was to watch last season) this was always going to be the consequence. Last season was the time to change, when you have more scope to get away with teething troubles. The Prem is too unforgiving to try a dramatic tactic shift.
