Delia had brought in hucks in the champ and promotion had been largely unexpected.

We had Simon charlton at centre back and Doherty up front and we were still giving sides a game. I think people appreciated that worthy was doing the best job he could with what he had (although like farke he seemed to be incapable of dropping Scottish players who were badly out of depth…..)
