What happened to getting more power. What happened to our creativity

Last time we had Godfrey, Tettey and Amadou so arguably we are worse on that front. Are we really relying on Normann as our only DM.
Buendia is obviously a massive loss but Stiepermann and Vrancic were always threading Pukki through as well. Feel like we need to play with a number 10 but we didn't bother signing one.
What a right mess, and yes Idah should be on loan. He was woeful
