The philosophy itself isn’t bad.

It’s the stupid elements that we go along with seemingly for the sake of it…

- Zonal marking - either it, or the way we implement it, is s**t.
- Playing out from the back - the number of times we lose the ball, give away a throw in, or other such s**t when we battle against the percentages by trying to get out of our own box without daring to get up the pitch and enforce our own press.
- everyone back for corners - never got an out ball, so we’re often under pressure again shortly after dealing with a set play.
- s**t substitutions which seemingly undo any positives or are too late.

There is more. I’m sure I’m wrong though…
