Gilmore is an excellent player.... but

just think he isn't the right fit for us at the present time. And really we should have worked out that probability before we took him on. Would guess the Tuchel/Farke Dortmund connection had a lot to do with the signing and we jumped at the chance of taking him without properly thinking if we actually needed him in the role he plays (personally I think Dowell, PLM and Rupp are all a better fit for us)

Also it is quite probable that both Billy G and Brandon Williams have game time clauses and that won't help us either in the bigger picture.
