Either part of it to be honest.
1. I’m not convinced Farke would get us promoted without Emi (not saying he shouldn’t be given the chance though), and
2. I don’t think we should have to accept being THIS bad in the PL. There are some basic things that increase the chances of getting points regardless of how poor a team is, such as organisation and intensity, generally being difficult to play against and difficult to break down. We’re not doing any of those things and there’s not really any excuse. Others might make an argument around the quality of football we get to witness being a redeeming feature, notwithstanding the flaws, but frankly, the last 15 games (Leicester aside) in the PL the football has been rubbish, we’ve scored what, 2 or 3 goals? And let in how many? Yes, I agree we might have to accept relegation because our budget compared to other sides means that will always be the result in the end, even if we did stay up a couple of seasons, but I don’t think we have to accept being THIS bad.
