System, players or both?

14 goals conceded, 2 scored. The current system, it doesn't appear to work, can the players not adapt to it or are they not good enough to make it work. Common sense would suggest that we change the system before it's too late. Any thoughts on 4-5-1, sometimes a pragmatic approach is required, after all it's a results based game. We need to start accumulating some points, confidence and momentum.
