The attitude is just different

Was reading this fluff piece on Brentford and Toney.

Listen to what he says, how he is approaching it. His intention every 90 minutes is to give whoever is marking him a s**t load of problems. He is taking it personally.

This of course is just talk, which as we all know is very cheap. But he’s backing it up by doing it on the pitch. Where is that personal responsibility for our lot? Too much hiding in “the team”, not enough “I’m going to win what I can win”.

This is rarified territory. Not many get even close to the Prem. There are others out there who are going to fight you for that precious place. Can you handle it? How much do you want it?

(Is at least what it feels like to me this morning.)
