Glad I’m not on the Boatd. Some interesting decisions ahead!

farke and these players will get us back up, so medium term he is still a good bet. Long term it seems he isn’t, if we want to stay in the PL.

But short term…. Ducked if I know. The squad is good enough, so sooner rather than later you have to ‘consider’ rolling the dice on a managerial change. but no guarantees that any new manager will do better than Farke might (or be as good in the champs)….

And then, we’ve spent a significant sum that you would imagine is partly with the intention of generating a healthy profit on them, and that isn’t going to happen if we have a rubbish season and go down with a whimper… financially that might be a significant dent in future growth.

I think Farke has earned the right to have a bloody good go at this season, so I haven’t a clue what I would do in the Board’s shoes.
