who made the mistake of assuming that fans know nothing about the game. Many of us have in fact been watching it for a lot longer than he has! He is admitting that he is aware that some of the players he selects week in and week out are not overly popular with the fans when to them there are other players in the squad who may do a better job. Fans are not idiots - they often see a game from a totally different perspective to the manager and sometimes they are right. DF should respect that and instead of getting upset because some of his decisions are being questioned he should be asking himself why. I don't like to hear players being booed but there is usually a reason for it whether Mr Farke likes it or not! He should also perhaps come to terms with the fact that in most cases fans can see when substitutions need to be made instead of delaying for too long leaving little or no time for them to have much effect. Supporters remain loyal to their clubs for a lifetime - managers or coaches are only ever temporary caretakers!
