My daughter wears one

as she is autistic. Even in the doctors surgery she gets challenged as so very many people have just got one and printed fake cards to go in them. So much so that the surgery can’t take it on face value if you’re wearing one and has to ask, which can be distressing to someone on the spectrum who’s found just walking in there quite challenging enough in the first place.

So you may have been joking but there’s a lot of w**kers out there making life harder for people with actual needs by using them to try to get out of masking up.
