I should get used to it but commentators always seem happy to inform the viewer of “facts” which are simply their assumptions.
“Norwich are approaching this season largely the same as the last premier league season. They’ve not spent much”.
“That’s not really Hanley’s game. He’s the guy who likes to head clear out of the box on set pieces and crosses”
“What a stage for Omobamidele’s senior league debut”.
“That’s pukki’s game. He will run at defenders and try to lift it over a foot or between legs and stumble his way through. He’s not going to pass it there”
Etc.
Did mention though that if we play to the level we did yesterday then we don’t look like relegation material.
