Its understandable that players will want to make sure the club know they want to move on and earn more, it is just their job essentially.

The important thing is how they go about it, an early blip aside, Emi delivered on the pitch, didn't moan to the press, was respectful to the fans, and was clearer well liked by the rest of the squad.
He kept himself a proper part of it, did everything right, while reminded the club what he wanted in return.
