I can quite believe that Emi didnt fancy another season in the Champs

And would have been looking for a move when we were relegated. We did well to keep him last season, but more importantly well done Farke for keeping him motivated - he was incredible last year. We also cashed him in for a lot of money too, which has allowed a much more widespread refresh of the squad than I might have thought possible. Notable that it was "only" Villa who fancied him at that price.

It is sad to be reminded that few of our players (in all likelihood none) feel any sentiment towards the club, but the club is so much better off as a result of the years Emi gave us. So no hard feelings. (If he scores against us and then gives it to us large, then I reserve my right to change my mind on that.)
