it sounds as though Ed Smith was particularly shonky as a selector - so it's nifty that he's moved on. Likewise our batting got worse whilst Ramprakash was involved as batting coach... tho things haven't improved since Thorpe came in either.

I don't really have any axe to grind with Silverwood et al. just find it curious that the press seem to place all the focus on the players (good and bad) and the management are largely anonymous.

It's the total reverse of football!
