Anyone on here been contacted by Test and Trace?

My elderly mother was contacted but as she's naturally suspicious she's got it into her head that it was a scammer. They haven't asked for any bank details, obviously, but they did say that she could be fined if she didn't stay at home. I want to offer her some reassurance but don't know what the official protocol is.
