Unless that was the plan when it looked like cantwell was leaving?

Maybe we were thinking we have enough wingers and wide attackers so we would reinvest the money in billing and use him in midfield in place of PLM/Kenny/rupp. Then just survive with Rashica / tzolis / dowell / Hernández and maybe even placheta / idah / Sargent as the wide forwards / wingers

That would have been ok. But I doubt that was the scenario since we wouldn’t have known we’d get tzolis and Sargent at that point.
