China's Lotus/Geely going electric. 0 to 60 in 3 seconds

I wonder if we'll get any scantily clad young Chinese women in China doings the ads for the new Lotus?

"Geely's Lotus Cars launched a new company in China, Wuhan Lotus Technology, and received an investment from NIO Capital. Bloomberg reported that the company was valued at 15 billion yuan ($2.3 billion) in its latest round of funding.

The 73-year-old brand, which broke ground for its global headquarters in Wuhan on Tuesday, announced plans to launch five pure electric smart cars within five years, including the E-Class (mid-size) smart pure electric SUV codenamed TYPE132, the E-Class pure electric smart four-door coupe TYPE133, the new pure electric smart model TYPE134, and the pure electric small sports car TYPE135.

Lotus will also launch its architecture EPA, which it claims will be able to let cars accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 3 seconds.
