I'd be very disappointed if that was the case.

Seen very little to suggest Gilmour should be ahead of PLM, McLean or Cantwell (or Dowell) who are the main people who are playing a similar role.

Similarly, I don't think Williams or Kabak look immediate picks over Dimi/Gibson.

I think all of them will have valuable roles to play, but if we treat them as nailed on starters above our own guys it doesn't sit well with me.
